Description: The ABC rotation is a structure designed to provide facilitator leadership and ownership in the operations of QHS. After a review of the current rotation, facilitators decide, based on school need, new areas to add or delete from the rotation. This occurs at the beginning of each school year. Each facilitator and support staff chooses to engage in two activities from each rotation (A, B, and C). Reports are generated at the end of the year as to the success and or areas of concern with the rotation so that a history is created for those who choose a new rotation the next year.
Recommendations for how this resource may be used: The resource serves as an exemplar of distributed/shared leadership in a small high school.
