Letter to Parents about Internships

submitted by Kimberly Klepcyk

Download Resource File

Description: While student internships do not meet the definition of service learning, they do provide students with opportunities to learn outside of the school walls. In order for these types of opportunities to take place, parents must be made aware of the guidelines of such experiences. This resource is an example of such guidelines being communicated to parents for a pilot senior internship program.

Recommendations for how this resource may be used: This resource would be helpful to schools desiring to pilot or implement student internship programs.
