Faculty Meeting Agenda Board

submitted by Kimberly Klepcyk

Download Resource File

Description: This resource is an example of the QHS faculty meeting agenda board and how it is used to structure faculty meetings. The board exists in the faculty lounge area. Faculty meetings occur every Tuesday. Staff members or students who wish to place an item on the agenda do so on this board. The board is divided into three areas : teaching, learning and administrative items. A faculty member signs up, estimates the amount of time the item will take and aligns the item with one of the three vision and goal areas from our campus improvement plan. These three areas are Authentic/Life-Long Learning, Collaborative Culture and Caring Culture.

Recommendations for how this resource may be used: This resource could be used by a school looking for a model of how to make faculty meetings more democratic and to implement a shared leadership model. It also could be used as a model for keeping faculty meetings and the faculty's focus on the school vision and improvement plan.
