Description: Wildwood Elementary School opened in 1971 and the Secondary School, founded on the principles of CES, began in 2000. Wildwood's Outreach Center supports the implementation of small, personalized public and charter schools in California.

Mission: Wildwood School is a college preparatory independent school in West Los Angeles that enrolls 700 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.Founded as a progressive K-6 school in 1971, Wildwood expanded its mission in 2000 by opening a middle and upper school based on the principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools. Wildwood provides students with a rigorous intellectual and innovative program that prepares them to become individuals who are reflective, ethically grounded, and confident in their ability to learn and lead.
