Urban Academy Laboratory High School

Description: Urban Academy is a small New York City public high school which serves a diverse population; classes at the school are heterogeneous and multi-aged. Urban Academy's student population is multicultural and multiracial; the school serves students from all economic levels and reflects the general NYC population.

Mission: Urban Academy's approach to education assumes that the more deeply invested students are in their own learning, the more successful they will be as learners.
